2012-2013 Welcome Back!

HELLO OPTIONS CHOIRS!  I can't tell you how excited I am to begin another fun year of singing and dancing with all of you.  I have posted the choir syllabus below if you want to take a look at it.  New this year, I want to make sure you are all visiting this blog and practicing the songs for upcoming performances, so, we will have a choir practice log that you keep in your choir folder to track your practice time.  Throughout the year, you'll just click the tab above that lists the choir you are in and you will find videos playing your part, choreography and some fun pictures.  Also, you will find the dates of our two big concerts for the year listed right over hear on the left side of this page.  This blog is a great tool for us to put on the best performances possible, so be sure to use it.  Thanks gang, and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

HEY OPTIONS CHOIRS, CONGRATULATIONS ON A GREAT SPRING PERFORMANCE!

We now have one last opportunity to sing for the Options community on graduation day.  All the choirs will be performing the following song and need to be working hard to memorize the lyrics this week.  If choir students can attend in the morning both May 24th and 25th to perform we would love to have all choir students join us on both days.  You can come from 11:00-Noon on the day your don't normally come to Options.  Looking forward to celebrating what the future holds with all of you.

Hello, Hello Choreography

This video is of the choreography for the speaking verse in the song Hello, Hello.  All choirs must learn these moves the first time through...only the children's choir members and the Friday youth choir need to learn the moves both times through.  Remeber when practicing with this video that I am mirroring your moves, so when I use my left hand, you should use your right, like you are standing in front of a mirror.  Happy Practicing!
